Parent's Guide

Based on the Cbeebies TV show, Timmy Time is a mini game collection based around the son/friend/whatever relation he is of Shaun The Sheep, of Wallace And Gromit fame. With a load of characters from the TV show, your child will get to play through fourteen different touch-screen-controlled mini-games such as spot the difference, playing pairs and completing a selection of jigsaws - and much more. Generally all the games are fairly simple, and should be familiar to most children, meaning you should be able to get by with minimal reading - bar a couple, like 'Timmy Goes Skiing', where you need to place pieces on a grid for Timmy to follow to the other side, which may prove a tad on the complex side.

With a definite feel of Peppa Pig: The Game - a game which went down fantastically with my then-three-year-old cousin - Timmy Time could potentially be managed by children younger than four, but, as always, it depends so much on the child. Each mini-game has three different difficulties to it, so in theory, you should be able to find a suitable one to match your child's ability.

There's a myriad of similar games to Timmy Time out there - Peppa Pig: The Game, Postman Pat: Special Delivery Service and Noddy In Toyland to name but a few, so if any of those have gone down well, then Timmy Time stands a good chance too. Or maybe, if your child is a huge Timmy fan, it might be a great game to introduce them to the DS with.

Mature Content

Based on the kids TV show, Timmy Time should be perfectly suitable for anyone and everyone. There's nothing in the way of violence, gore, swearing or sex here, with nothing even remotely scary either, making it the perfect game for the little ones, particularly if they're fans of the TV show.

Multiplayer
Timmy Time is an entirely single player game, with no multiplayer options.
