Parent's Guide

Playing as an underwater eating machine, your mission in Feeding Frenzy 2 is to gobble up everything in sight - but there's a catch. Starting out as a teeny tiny fish you can't really go straight into gnawing on a shark, and instead have to work your way up the food chain, with the only real rule being to chomp on whatever fish are smaller than you - just watch out no bigger fish fancy you for lunch though, or you'll lose a life and have to restart the level. Scoff enough and your fish grows in size and you can eat bigger fish, until you reach the maximum size for the level you're on and you can move on to the next.

It's not a phenomenally difficult game, and nor does it require much in the way of reading (outside of the interesting fact about fish at the end of each level) - all you do is move your little fish around the screen. Perhaps if you have a less-than-eloquent command of the analogue stick, you may find yourself running into more bigger fish than you intended and haemorrhaging lives - in which case you may want to move onto the 'Lite' mode, which lets you play through the main 'story' mode of the game without having to worry about lives. You still have to worry about the fatter-than-you fish though, but sheer persistence should see you through to the end of each level.

For people wanting to play together, Feeding Frenzy 2 lets you play through the entire story mode in co-operative four player, as well as a competitive Frenzyfest mode, where you can battle it out to be the king or queen of the deep. And thanks to the game's simple, addictive pick up and play qualities, everyone should be able to join in with the undersea eating fun.

Mature Content

While it may deal with a subject matter that certainly has the potential to not be all that child friendly (the food chain), there's nothing bad about Feeding Frenzy 2. There's no blood, no gore - when fish are eaten, a giant "CHOMP" appears - which should tell you all you need to know!
