EA announce Kinect support for FIFA 13 Madden 13 and more

In what seemed to be something of a recurring theme for Microsoft's press conference at the largest games show in the world, E3, the platform holder invited their good friends EA out on to the stage to talk about a new innovation they've got planned. Namely, they're going to shoehorn Kinect into several EA Sports titles, as of next year.

Whilst the announcement was somewhat understandably light on information (to avoid harming the sales of FIFA 12), EA did confirm that Kinect support is coming to mega-football franchise FIFA, American football game Madden, the golfing simulator, Tiger Woods, and an as yet unannounced franchise. While it's not known how Kinect will be used in any of the above games, EA Sports head honcho, and ex-scouser Peter Moore did reference shouting out orders to your team on the gridiron in American Football game Madden, whilst being a lot more vague about FIFA. "Just imagine the possibilities Kinect can bring to FIFA." It'll be interesting to see what they do.

FIFA 13, Madden 13, and Tiger Woods will all be released at some point next year. In the mean time, FIFA 12 and Madden 12 are on for a release later this year.
