Genre(s): Racing (Arcade)
To mark the release of the fourth game in Spil Games' free-to-play stunt-racing game, Uphill Rush, the eager developers have unleashed a whole host of statistics about the games, in the form of a handy info-graphic. For starters, the four games in the series have been played a whopping 600 million times – that's about ten times the population of the UK, and about twice that of the USA. And together, all these games add up to a whopping 4,316 years of playing, which is roughly the age of Stonehenge. Maybe that's a hint at what Stonehenge was built for - crazy aerial acrobatics on the back of a sheep...

If you've missed out on the Uphill Rush games and don't have a clue what we're on about, they're a series of wacky web-browser-based games, where you pilot your person on your vehicle of choice through a course full of jumps, ramps and things to smash – you could be a sumo-wrestler riding on the back of a dolphin, a cheerleader on a hovercraft or a Disco Stu-alike on a skateboard; the choice is yours. As for the courses, there's everything from water park tubes to fancy hotel hallways. As you plough your way through the courses, you'll want to pick up as much cash as you can, which can then be used to buy new outfits and vehicles – and you can earn some nice bonuses by performing a few tricks while in the air too.You can also earn a bit on the side by running over the odd person, as well as trying your hand at demolishing signs, lights and piles of suitcases that dear to stand in your way.

Uphill Rush 4 comes with six different courses, each with three difficulty levels to progress through. Playing Uphil Rush is easy - all you need to do is hold the up arrow key on your keyboard to accelerate, and use the left and right keys to stabilise yourself so you land right, or you'll fall off your vehicle and lose a life. You can jump and perform a variety of tricks with a tap of the space bar, and X is where your Turbo boost is stored.

It proves to be surprisingly addictive, with a definite 'just one more go' feel to it – we've been playing it for the past hour under the guise of 'research' - and it's sometimes quite funny too, as your character decides to face-plant an unexpected ramp that jumped out of nowhere. As a free online game, you can't really go wrong – so head over to the website and have a go. It even has little achievement-y awards to unlock if you sign up for one of their free accounts.
