It's typical, isn't it? We have all the rubbish weather, with no new announcements - and now the sun's finally come out - now we all want to just go and sit around outside and make the most of it while it lasts, Nintendo announces their line up for this spring.
Of course, not that we could possibly be complaining with a lineup this impressive. It's not often we can use the phrase "something for everyone" and really mean it, but take a look at the list below for yourself, as there really is something there that'll take your eye, no matter what you're into.
On the Wii, we have the 2010 World Cup game - bound to keep your children, or yourself busy through the turmoil of the tournament; movie tie-ins galore, with Shrek Forever After and Toy Story 3; Monster Hunter 3 - a addictive button mashing adventure, and, of course, the sequel to last year's immensely popular Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Of note in the DS line-up, we have Rooms: The Main Building - a sliding puzzle game with more than a hint of a mature Professor Layton about it; Runaway: A Twist of Fate - a DS version of an excellent point-and-click game; Club Penguin: Herbert's Revenge - the latest title in Disney's popular kids series; and Jam with the Band - a rhythm action game, featuring a number of (slightly dated) tunes for you to tap along to.
So whether you're looking for something to keep the kids occupied on a long car journey, or something to match your summer spirit, there's bound to be something in Nintendo's line-up for you. Stick with us over the next few weeks, as we'll be bringing you all the latest information about these titles, and telling you which ones are really worth your hard earned cash.
