It seems like an awfully long time ago when we revealed the first half of Just Dance 2016's song list - way back in June to be precise - and we were getting a little bit concerned that Ubisoft had forgotten all about its motion-controlled dance game. In fact, we were starting to wonder if something had gone wrong - and then, mere days later, an email with the full song list dropped into our inboxes, hot off the press. Packing some 42 chart-topping tracks onto one disc, it looks like Just Dance 2016 is shaping up to be another winning mix of well-known favourites, cheesy dance routines and popular songs - as we've come to expect from the series, now on it's seventh iteration.
So without further ado, here's the seventeen brand new songs that'll be rounding out the full song list come October, including at least one band with a rather unfortunate name:

So, there it is! How you feel about the Just Dance song list will probably depend on how old you are. We can't help feeling a little… disappointed, we guess, with the selection of songs on more recent Just Dance games - every year we find ourselves knowing less and less of the tunes on the disc. Whether it's just we're less in tune with what the yoof like these days, or whether they really are getting more obscure with their choices is hard to say though - apart from a brief foray into Britney and Westlife during our teens, we've tended to stick to more 'alternative' music anyway. But that's not to say we're above having a quick waggle of our Wii Remotes to Just Dance's cheesy pop and over-the-top dance routines either!
Just Dance 2016 will be hitting pretty much every platform going come the 23rd October - the Wii and Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. But don't worry if you're short on controllers or cameras either, as the brand new Just Dance Controller App can turn any smart phone into a makeshift controller, too - although we wouldn't trust ourselves not to get a bit too into 'Under The Sea' and hurl it through the nearest window…
