Setting off from your home in the Johto region with nothing but a handful of Pokeballs, some running shoes and a single Pokemon of your choice, you begin an epic journey to fill up a Pokedex for Professor Elm, documenting every species of Pokemon found in the region. Along the way, you'll befriend many different types of Pokemon and raise your own team of six critters who'll journey with you through thick and thin, battling anything that stands in your way. But soon you run into trouble with the evil Team Rocket, a criminal organisation originally from Kanto, who are intent on abusing and enslaving Pokemon.
