Ever since neurobiologist Dr. David Styles lost his wife in a horrible accident years ago, he hardly ever leaves his estate, Dread Hill House. When part-time street magicain Samantha Everett shows up on his doorstep, she ends up unexpectedly becoming his assistant - and her first task is to find six test subjects for an experiment. The experiment seems to go fine until the inexplicable incidents start mounting up...
